| Review by Mike Honcho (USA) 2009-12-21 Wow. I had been looking at 1080p 120hz TVs for at least 6 months. I lost track of how many reviews, articles and forums I visited during that time frame during my search for information on the best buys and TVs to avoid. I had my heart set on a Samsung, but one look at this Sharp on t... Read more reviews | ||

Satisfied Rating (10/10)
LN40B630 Samsung 40-inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color
I looked at the price of this model from Samsung (Consumer Reports last year the first choice of LCD monitors 40 ") for the last year that my 32" Sony CRT TV was dying. This TV has been offered $ 999. with a version of a Blu Ray DVD Player Sylvania and an HDMI cable free with free shipping and no sales tax. This package saved me about $ 300. its closest competitor (Sears acquisition of the CTV at the same price, but with the sales tax and free companion product).
Fortunately gave me the opportunity to phase out the purchase and affordable to high-definition TV recently. These 's HDTV is only famous assertion that the tuner is built in, and it reads and returns the resolution of 1080i, that defines "HD". Of course, the reverse is compatible with the old standards of 480p and 720p resolution, but I have nothing to worry about, right?
